KAI Photonics Co. Ltd. (venture company started from Keio University) and Panasonic Corporation are exhibiting the cable with connector developed through their collaboration at CES2016 in Las Vegas, U.S.A in January 2016.
This technology uses "Ballpoint Pen Interconnect for Plastic Optical Fiber" developed by KPRI and Mitsubishi Pencil.
